To provide a game system wherein a memory device having game functions is used and many people can simultaneously enjoy one game.

The game system comprises an assembly model 1 in the shape of a race horse and a portable horse raising game machine 2 having functions as a memory device. The model 1 includes a connector 11 for mounting the machine 2, a motor drive circuit 12 to process signals from the machine 2, and a motor 13 to be driven by the circuit 12. The machine 2 includes on a surface of a case 21 a small LCD 22 and a variety of operation buttons 23 such as cross-shaped key, while a connector 24 is provided at the lower end of the machine 2. The connector 24 is connected to the connector 11 of the model 1.
