PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system allowing a person and allowing a plurality of persons to play a game by effectively using respective characteristics of computer game devices with a plurality of forms.SOLUTION: The game system includes stationary game machines 1 and portable terminal devices 2. The stationary game machine 1 includes first game provision means for providing a first game using the stationary game machine 1, and first character data transmission means for transmitting character data created by the first game to the portable terminal device 2. The portable terminal device 2 includes second game provision means for providing a second game using the portable terminal device 2, first character data receiving means, and cooperation means for executing communications among a plurality of portable terminal devices 2.
