PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of reflecting a selection result of a user into a route display mode.SOLUTION: A game system 1 includes a monitor MO which displays a game screen 40 including an object image 47 and a determination sign image 46 and a rotation button B, and provides a music game to guide a timing of operation to the rotation button B via the game screen 40 by generating a movement of the determination sign image 46 towards the object image 47 along each lane image 42 so that the positions of the object image 47 and the determination sign image 46 coincide with each other at the operation timing. The game system 1 gives a character selection process to select a character card 60 to be used for play of a music game from among a character card group 60F to generate a change to a display mode of each lane image 42 and gives a change corresponding to the character card 60 to the display mode of each lane image 42 on the basis of the selection result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
