Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the storage and extension of a gangway ladder by pivotally fitting the base end of a gangway ladder main body rotatably and tiltably to a platform and suspending the middle section of the gangway ladder with a sling so that the platform is made extendable and storable on an upper deck via a parallel link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In a gangway ladder device, the base end of a gangway ladder main body 1 is pivotally fitted to a platform 2 fitted on an upper deck, its middle section is suspended with a sling so as to be extended outboard and slantly downward, and the platform 2 is supported movably and in parallel horizontally between the extension position and the storage position via a prallel link mechanism provided on the upper deck. A rotary arm 3 is fitted to a stachion 4 erected on the upper deck, wires from a rotating winch 7 and a hoisting winch 8 are hooked to support the middle section of the gangway ladder. Accordingly, a hoisting mechanism can be made simple, and furthermore, the storage and extension of the gangway ladder can be simplified.
