To provide methods, a gantry, and a room's infrastructure for maneuvering a portable type open-bore magnetic resonance device (MRD) with no fringing of its magnetic field from at least one first location towards at least one static patient placed at at least one second remote location.
A gantry 101 comprises: a transporting mechanism; and an open-bore MRD 103 interconnected to the gantry 101 by at least one maneuverable member 104. The MRD 103, by means of the gantry 101, is transportable from the first location to the second remote location adjacent a static patient 108. An aperture 103A of the MRD's open-bore 103, by means of the aforementioned maneuverable member 104, is directable towards a defined spatially orientation facing the static patient.
