To provide a garbage bag holding stand that can be installed at home such as a kitchen, stores/disposes of a large amount of garbage at home by using a garbage bag on the market, prevents a sanitary problem such as a bad smell and intrusion of an insect, and is used as an inexpensive garbage storing container.

The garbage bag holding stand is composed of a garbage bag holding stand body made of a frame element having a size covered by an opening portion of the garbage bag, and legs extending downward from the frame element; a seal member fitted with the frame element while pinching the garbage bag having the opening portion covering the frame element, and having a C-shaped cross section and length generally same as the circumference of the frame element; and a covering element placed on an upper surface of the seal member.
