To provide a garbage crusher which has simple structure, is low cost, and is portable, and the crushing knife of which can be easily disassembled / detached and can be washed, from the view point of reducing garbage quantity.

In the garbage crusher, the crushing knife 1 and a motor 2 or an inverter 11, and an inverter box 7 are attached inside a cylinder 6 via a support plate 3 in a freely attachable / detachable manner and a garbage receptacle 10 is placed thereunder. In a drawing, a connector 15a is made to project on the outside flank of the cylinder 6 and a connector 15b is provided at the shaft of the motor 2 attached to an external pole. The connector 15a and the connector 15b are engaged by sliding the tube 6 on a rail 13, thereby the crushing knife is rotated to crush the garbage and crushed garbage is received in the garbage receptacle 10.
