To provide a garbage decomposition/extinction device which is constructed so as to have functions capable of removing various bacteria/fungi and odors and subjecting a material to be treated to complete extinction, and also to make the operation stages simple and efficient.

The garbage decomposition/extinction process using the device comprises allowing two vessel, namely, a grinding vessel (1) and a decomposition/ extinction vessel (2) to communicate with each other so as to function as an integrated body, conveying a material to be treated from the grinding vessel (1) to the decomposition/extinction vessel (2), while finely grinding the material with blades (4) fitted to a grinder (3) in the grinding vessel (1) and also pushing a push plate (5) with a screwed bar (6) and a bellows (7), mixing the material to-be-treated with a bio-bacterium (biological decomposition bacterium) bed material (18) charged into the decomposition/extinction vessel (2) provided with a hot-water plate (9) for supplying hot water to the inside of the vessel (2), by using an agitator (8) disposed in the vessel (2), performing deodorization of the material to-be-treated in the grinding vessel (1) by using a fan (10) and a cartridge type deodorization vessel (12), each installed in the device, and keeping a control panel (15) in the device to automate all the driving power supply and operations.
