In the garbage disposal apparatus equipped with a charging port 11 for charging garbage, a crushing part 10 for crushing the garbage, a garbage disposal apparatus main body 20 for disposing the crushed garbage and a feed duct member 40 for feeding the garbage crushed in the crushing part 10 to the garbage disposal apparatus main body 20, the garbage disposal apparatus main body 20 has a disposal tank 21 for housing the crushed garbage, a stirring means 30 for stirring the housed garbage and a heating means 35 for heating and drying the garbage and is constituted so as to be made thin in its contour width and connected to the crushing part 10 through the feed duct member 40 so as to avoid the housing space under a sink 2 to be arranged in a sink stand 1. By this constitution, the housing properties and user's convenience of the sink stand are enhanced.
