Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically effectually reduce the volume and weight of garbage, and deodrize and discharge the same.
SOLUTION: There are provided two drying chambers 8, 12 where stirring apparatuses having a common rotation shaft 6 are provided, a combustion apparatus, and a heat exchanger for heating drying air with combustion gas. A garbage treatment apparatus 1 is used which uses air containing odor components as combustion air for the combustion apparatus to heat, deodrize, and exhaust the air containing odorous components. In order for the garbage to be prevented from being carried to the second drying chamber 12 during the drying treatment of the garbage, and the dried garbage to be discharged from the second drying chamber 12 by reversely rotating the rotary shaft 6, for example, after completion of the drying treatment, there is provided a stirring means 7 on the rotary shaft 6 of the first drying chamber 8 and a screw- shaped wing stirring/discharging means 11 of a specified structure is provided, on the rotary shaft 6 of the second drying chamber.
