In the garbage disposal device comprising a rotary shaft with implanted stirring claws suspended in the treatment tank having a garbage charging aperture opened at the top, a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet are provided at both end parts of the hollow rotary shaft and a high-temperature fluid is circulated in the rotary shaft to heat the garbage stored in the treatment tank. Hot water supplied from a hot water generating source outside the device may be a high-temperature fluid to be circulated through the interior of the rotary shaft.
