PURPOSE: To efficiently carry out garbage disposal with a little power without emitting an offensive odor by constituting the equipment in such a way that after garbage has been dehydrated so as to be reduced to semisolid matter, it is automatically packed up inside a sealing chamber and is stored below a kitchen table or in the vicinity thereof.

CONSTITUTION: The garbage dropped from the drain port of a sink 34 and stored inside a disposer 32 is crushed by the operation of a disposer 32 when a switch 33 is turned on, and it is reduced to a slurry shape, and fed to a cage cylinder 9 via a pipe 35. In the process of being conveyed by a screw 3 being turned by a motor 8, most of water is dropped into a hopper part 13 through the drain holes of the cylinder 9. Since a back-pressure regulating plate 15 is provided to the front surface of a compression cylinder, a compression force is exerted on garbage slurry inside the cylinder 9, and dehydration is accelerated. The dehydrated semisolid garbage is dropped and put into a plastic bag 21, and when a prescribed weight is detected by a weighing apparatus, the upper part of the bag is cut by a heat sealer 22 to complete package.
