To provide a garbage disposal machine capable of efficiently discharging the residual materials decomposed by decomposing bacteria.
The garbage disposal machine 1 is so formed that the garbage fed into a decomposing vessel body 2 is grain-refined and decomposed by agitating and mixing with a plurality of ceramic balls 4 implanted with microorganisms and that the residual materials sticking to the ceramic balls 4 by drying can be discharged through a number of elongated stationary slits. The machine is provided with a sliding plate 9 which is formed slidable forward and backward toward an agitating shaft 3a by touching the under surface of a bottom plate 2a of the body 2 and the sliding plate 9 is opened and bored with slits for opening and closing the stationary slits which are broader than the respective stationary slits and are actuated to open and close the stationary slits by sliding of the sliding plate 9.
