To provide a garbage disposal machine capable of efficiently carrying out power-restoring post-treatment after power failure of power source and ensuring safety at opening of a garbage throwing door.
Means for detecting power failure or means for detecting power-restoring (24, 25, 26, 27) are provided on power source 22 for driving load and power source 23 for a control circuit, respectively. Thereby, the treatment at the power failure or the treatment at the power-restoring is made efficient. The garbage disposal machine is provided with a means 34 for detecting opening/closing of a first switch for opening/closing the power source 22 for driving load; and a means 35 for detecting opening/closing of a second switch for opening/closing the power source 23 for the control circuit. The treatment after power-restoring can be efficiently carried out by determining the state of the power source 22 for driving load or the power source 23 for the control circuit. The garbage disposal machine is further provided with a means for detecting opening/closing of the garbage throwing door and safety at the opening of the garbage throwing door is ensured.
