PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal machine which can reduce a running cost of the garbage disposal machine, can simultaneously shorten the time for drying treatment and can make a drying state uniform by preventing burning and sticking of garbage.
SOLUTION: The garbage disposal machine is equipped with a drying kettle into which the garbage is put, a hot air heating means for subjecting the garbage to hot air heating by utilizing the combustion heat of fuel and a direct heating means for directly heating the drying kettle by energizing heating parts. The machine is constituted by arranging the hot air heating means in a position where the upper part of the garbage in the drying kettle is subjected to hot air heating and by arranging the direct heating means near the bottom of the drying kettle. The fuel and electricity are eventually used in combination and the running cost is reduced and simultaneously the time for the drying treatment can be shortened. Also, the temperature near the bottom of the drying kettle can be minutely controlled, the burning and sticking of the garbage are eliminated and the drying state can be made uniformly by separately controlling the energization of the heating parts divided to a plurality of the direct heating means, thereby directly heating the parts near the bottom of the drying kettle.
