To provide a garbage disposer hardly affected by ambient temperature, and directly heating the inside of a disposer tank by simple structure.
The garbage disposer 1 is provided with the disposer tank 2 containing garbage and chips; an agitation part 3 having agitation blades 3b disposed on an outer face of a cylindrical driving shaft 3a within the tank 2, the shaft 3a being turnably held penetrating through bearing parts 2c provided at both ends of the tank 2; a first piping zone 4 disposed covering a lower part 2a of the tank 2; a second piping zone 7 disposed covering an upper part 2b of the tank 2; and connection parts 10, 11 communicatingly connecting the driving shaft 3a with the first and second piping zones 4, 7 respectively. The first piping zone 4, the driving shaft 3a of the agitation part 3 and the second piping zone 7 form a flow passage of a heating medium coming from an external heat source body.
