To provide a garbage disposer ensuring the air rate required for sucking air and preventing the efficiency of drying in the garbage disposer from dropping.
The garbage disposer 1 is used in the state of being installed inside of a cabinet 2b below a sink 2a constituting a kitchen sink 2. Since the air outside the cabinet 2b is sucked, a louver 2e is installed at the door 2c of the cabinet 2b, and an air sucking opening 2f is installed at a rising part 2d. Then, the garbage disposer 1 is installed on an installation panel 2h and an air sucking route is formed below the installation panel 2h. A ventilation hole 2g is installed which corresponds to the air sucking opening 2f through the air sucking route and corresponds the air sucking opening to the upper part of the installation panel 2h. The louver 2e, the air sucking opening 2f and the ventilation hole 2g, as shown by an arrow A and an arrow B, suck air from outside of the cabinet 2b and take in air into the garbage disposer 1 so that the garbage is crushed and dried inside of the disposer to make dried granules.
