To provide a garbage disposer in which drying-treated matters of powdery trash containing fibrous garbage and water is prevented from becoming dust due to overdrying and thereby clogging of an air pathway of the garbage disposer can be prevented.

In the garbage disposer, the powdery trash containing the fibrous garbage and water is drying-treated and drying ending judgement is performed by detected temperature of a temperature sensor attached to a drying container, wherein the temperature sensor is attached at a position which has same height as the surface height of the drying-treated matters in the drying container after drying operation ending or at a position which is a little lower than the surface height. Further the temperature sensor is attached on a track where a stirring blade of a stirring means performs rotary movement.
