To provide a garbage disposer capable of preventing a solid-liquid separator from causing an operational failure due to freezing or being disabled from operating, and preventing sanitary insect pest from entering through a sewer pipe.

This garbage disposer includes: a garbage crusher 18; a conveying pipe 20 for crushed garbage; a first trap 22 for preventing the back flow of an odor; the solid-liquid separator 26; and a drier 28 for drying the crushed garbage for a solid, wherein the sewer pipe 48 is provided with a second trap 50, and an exhaust passage 70 and an exhaust fan 74 for guiding exhaust air from a drying chamber 40 to the sewer pipe 48 are provided. The exhaust passage 70 is provided to reach the downstream of the second trap 50 of the sewer pipe 48 through the lower part of the solid-liquid separating chamber 30, and a check valve 73 is provided on the exhaust passage 70.
