PURPOSE: To eliminate bad odor generated from garbage and to deodor water vapor discharged from a garbage processing machine.

CONSTITUTION: A feeding port 13 for a garbage 12 is formed at an upper part of an axial one end of a cylinder 11 and at the same time a discharging port 14 is formed at a lower part of the other end of the cylinder. Within the cylinder 11 is rotatably pivoted a rotating shaft 20 provided with a screw vane 26 for use in transferring garbage 12 fed from the feeding port 13. A deodoring catalyst 60 is arranged within the rotating shaft 20 and further there is provided a heater 35 for use in heating the catalyst 60 and the garbage 12. A hopper 15 installed at the feeding port 13 communicating with the rotating shaft 20 through a suction pipe 17 and an inlet side easing 43. A suction fan 16 inserted into the suction pipe 17 is rotated to cause water vapor generated within the cylinder 11 to be sucked and fed into the catalyst 60.
