This garbage storage device 1 has the rotary drum 2 and a lead-in member 3 arranged in the vicinity of an opening 211 in the rotary drum 2 by being inserted in the rotational axis X1 direction from the opening 211 of the rotary drum 2. The lead-in member 3 is a substantially cylindrical shape having a diameter smaller than the opening 211 of the rotary drum 2, and is eccentrically arranged on the front side in the rotational direction to the rotational axis X1 of the rotary drum 2. Thus, out of two clearances C1 and C2 formed in the radial direction between a side part of the lead-in member 3 and an inner peripheral surface of the rotary drum 2, the clearance C2 formed on the front side in the rotational direction is constituted narrower than the clearance C1 formed on its rear side.
