Garbage pulverized by a pulverizing machine 1 is transferred together with water through piping and thereafter, garbage solids are recovered in a solid-liquid sepn. section 4 and are then subjected to a waste water treatment by aerobic microorganisms, by which the pollutant components of the garbage dissolved in the waste water may be efficiently removed. In addition, the garbage solids after the solid-liquid sepn. are subjected to volume reduction and solubilization by an aerobic biological treatment, by which the treatment residues necessary for the garbage treating apparatus and the amt. of the sludge to be generated are decreased and the easy maintenance and management are ensured.
