Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a garbage treating apparatus in which discomfort feeling due to odor is not imparted by deodorizing the odor generated from raw refuse in the case of treating to heat to dry it.
CONSTITUTION: The garbage treating apparatus comprises a heater 16 for heating to dry raw refuse in a raw refuse containing vessel 2, and an ozone introducing unit 23 for deodorizing odor generated from crude refuse 20 by drying with ozone. The apparatus further comprises an ozone sensor 21 for detecting an ozone concentration in the vessel 2 to operate the unit 23 for a predetermined time after the detected value of the sensor 21 becomes a predetermined value or more to supply the ozone into the vessel 2.
