PURPOSE: To provide a garbage treating apparatus, in which it is enabled to take out garbage by inverting its dehydrating basket, so that the cover or conduit for discharging the garbage in the basket can be omitted and hence clogging of garbage in the garbage discharging pipes or around the cover can be prevented.
