PURPOSE: To rapidly decompose and treat garbage by crushing the garbage charged from a material charge port and mixing the discharged garbage with treating medium in a treating tank at a every prescribed time.
CONSTITUTION: The garbage put into a crushing machine 7 from the material charge port 10 is crushed and is discharged into the treating tank 16. A control circuit mingles the garbage discharged from the crushing machine 7 with the treating medium 28 by rotation of the treating tank 16. This control circuit stops the electric motor 13 of the crushing machine 7 after the lapse of time sufficient for the garbage in the crushing machine 7 to be discharged to the treating tank 16 and stops an electric motor 22 for rotating the treating tank 16 after a prescribed time from the operation stop of the motor 13. Further, the control circuit rotates the treating tank 16 for a specified time after a prescribed time since the motor 13 for rotating the crushing machine 7 stops. The control circuit rotates the treating tank 16 for the specified time after a prescribed time from the rotation stop of the treating tank 16. The state of not bringing the garbage into contact with the outdoor air and the state of bringing the garbage into contact therewith are repeated, thereby the decomposition by the treating medium of the garbage is accelerated.
