To provide a garbage treating machine by which highly adhesive garbage like boiled rice is crushed and dried so that the garbage is not lumped, and the dried refuse is easily discharged.
This garbage treating machine is provided with a garbage container 1 having a refuse outlet 25, a rotating shaft 4 horizontally and rotatably attached to the container 1 and plural agitating means furnished to the rotating shaft 4. The agitating means close to the oulet 25 are provided on both sides of the center of rotation of the shaft 4, the agitating means away from the outlet 25 are furnished only on one side of the center of rotation of the shaft 4, and the angles formed by the agitating means away from the outlet 25 and adjacent to one another are made almost uniform.
