The garbage treatment apparatus 1 is equipped with a container 11 having an inflow part 12 of water containing organic waste on one side thereof and having a drain part 14 for draining sewage to a sewage treatment apparatus 6 and a discharge part 18 for discharging solid waste separated from sewage to a solid waste treatment apparatus 4 on the other side thereof, the rotary blade 20 housed in the container 11 in a freely rotatable manner and provided with a plurality of blade bodies for demarcating the container 11 into a plurality of spaces, a solid-liquid separator 3 comprising the filter member 15 arranged to the bottom surface of the container 11 to separate the water containing organic waste into solid waste and sewage, the solid waste treatment apparatus 4 communicating with the solid-liquid separator 3 to treat the solid waste discharged from the discharge part 18 of the container 11 of the solid- liquid separator 3 and a control unit for controlling the driving of both of the solid-liquid separator 3 and the solid waste treatment apparatus 4.
