To provide a garbage treatment apparatus utilizing a heat pump cycle accomplishing cost reduction and miniaturization.
The garbage treatment apparatus comprises: a garbage treatment chamber 21 for storing a garbage 22; a heat pump cycle 34 using a coolant in which a heat release unit 35, an expansion mechanism 36, a heat suction unit 37 and a compressor 32 of the other heat source machine are constituted in the order; an air discharge passage 41 communicated with the garbage treatment chamber 21; a suction passage 46 provided with the heat release unit 35 and communicated with the garbage treatment chamber 21; and a drying fan 48 for taking-in the outside air from the air discharge passage 41 and discharging the exhaust gas of the garbage treatment chamber 21 from the suction passage 46. Thereby, effective utilization of the other heat source machine can be accomplished by using the compressor 32 of the other heat source machine for drying of the garbage 22 and cost reduction and miniaturization can be accomplished.
