Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment device which improves the degradation efficiency by org. matter degradation microorganisms and is simple in constitution by providing the top of a biological treatment chamber for microbial degradation of garbage with a crushing chamber for crushing the garbage to small pieces. SOLUTION: The top of the biological treatment chamber 1 for microbial degradation of the garbage is provided with the crushing chamber 2 for crushing the garbage to the small pieces. The garbage feeding hopper 19 of the crushing chamber 2 is internally provided with an agitating member 3 for assisting the bite of the garbage to a crushing machine 4 by introducing the garbage to the crushing machine 4 and the crushing chamber 2 is provided with the double shaft type of crushing machine 4 and is provided with a plurality washing water nozzles 9 for washing the inside of the crushing chamber 2 and a washing water discharge pipe. At the time of treating the garbage, when an upper cap 5 is opened, a lower cap 6 is shut by interlocking with the upper cap 5, the garbage is fed into a hopper 19 in this stage and the upper cap 5 is closed. A limit switch is then triggered to start the crushing machine 4 and the agitating member 3 and to simultaneously open the lower cap 6, causing the crushed small pieces of the garbage to fall into the biological treatment chamber 1 where the garbage is biologically treated.
