To suppress both of the microbial decomposition smell and scorching smell of garbage to reduce odors by realizing a novel garbage treatment system (so-called low temperature drying control system) which dispenses with a conventional treatment auxiliary used at every garbage treatment and is different from a conventional microbial decomposition system or a high temperature drying system.
The subject garbage treatment machine 1 is equipped with a ventilation fan 3 and a treatment base material 6 is preliminarily housed in a treatment tank 5 communicating with a ventilation route 4. Garbage is charged in the treatment tank 5 to be stirred together with the treatment base material 6 by a stirring means 2 mounted in the treatment tank 5 and the content in the treatment tank 5 containing garbage is heated by a heating means 7 to dry the garbage to reduce the volume thereof. The garbage treatment machine 1 is equipped with a treatment temperature/water content control means 8 for performing control so that the temperature of the content in the treatment tank 5 containing the garbage becomes 70°C or lower and a water content region becomes 20% or less.
