To provide a garment-protective member surely attached to the fabric of a garment, and protecting the fabric of the garment from friction or scratch.

The garment-protective member is integrally formed of a sheet 20 made of synthetic resin or the like, and comprises a sewn-up piece 14 sewn up to the inner thigh side of the bottom part 12a of a garment 12, and a cover piece 16 formed so as to be joined with the sewn-up piece 14 and cover stitches with which the sewn-up piece 14 is sewn to the garment 12 to be folded on the sewn-up piece 14. The garment-protective member is provided with a folding ruled line 18 formed at a border line between the sewn-up piece 14 and the cover piece 16 and foldable into two, and a hot-melt adhesive 22 comprising an adhesive with which the sewn-up piece 14 and the cover piece 16 are bonded together. The synthetic resin sheet 20 is made of transparent raw material, and has an ink layer 24 where pictures are printed at a surface other than one side surface of the cover piece 16 exposed at the surface when attached to the garment 12. The picture is visible from the surface through the sheet 20.
