Abstract:
To provide a gas adsorbing material having an excellent gas storage capacity.
The gas adsorbing material includes a metal-organic framework containing: a plurality of metal clusters each containing a metal ion; and at least one polydentate ligand for cross-linking the metal clusters with one another. The gas adsorbing material is characterized in that the metal-organic framework contains at least one additional element selected from the group consisting of divalent or higher valent elements, and the polydentate ligand has an aromatic ring in which at least one atom selected from the group consisting of carbon and hydrogen atoms forming a benzene ring is replaced with an atom of group XIII elements.
