Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas alarm unit that minimizes the chances of becoming unable to perform a normal alerting function.SOLUTION: A gas alarm unit 100 operates on electric power from a battery 11 and includes; a gas detection unit 1; an alerting unit 4 configured to output an alarm when an output value of the gas detection unit 1 reaches an alarm threshold value; and a controller 2 configured to provide first control for correcting the alarm threshold value when the voltage of the battery 11 is at a first voltage within a range no less than a normal startup voltage, and to provide second control, different from the first control, for correcting the alarm threshold value when the voltage of the battery 11 is in a range less than the first voltage and greater than a cutoff voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
