To provide a gas appliance discrimination device with which it is possible to integrate the flow rate values of a gas appliance with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The gas appliance discrimination device comprises: flow rate measurement means 102 for measuring the flow rate of a fluid flowing in a passage 101 at given time intervals; average flow rate calculation means 121 for collecting a prescribed number of measured flow rate data and calculating an average flow rate; gas appliance discrimination means 110 for discriminating a gas appliance from the measured flow rate data; appliance flow rate calculation means 122 for calculating the flow rate of the appliance from the calculated average value and the discriminated result; appliance flow rate integration means 123 for integrating the flow rates of a specific gas appliance when the gas appliance is discriminated as a specific gas appliance; and gas appliance in use determination means 124 for determining whether or not the specific gas appliance is in use. When, while newly registered as the flow rate of a gas appliance, the specific gas appliance is determined to be in use and the result of discrimination by the gas appliance discrimination means 110 is a prescribed result, the appliance flow rate to be registered is integrated as that of the specific gas appliance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
