Abstract:
To provide a gas appliance discrimination device capable of automatically acquiring gas appliance information and discriminating a gas appliance even if there is a gas appliance which cannot be discriminated.SOLUTION: The gas appliance discrimination device comprises flow rate measurement means 102 for measuring a flow rate of liquid flowing in a flow channel 101 at a constant time interval, gas appliance information registration means 110 for registering a flow characteristic of gas consumed by a gas appliance as appliance information, and gas appliance discrimination means 111 for extracting the flow characteristic from data on the measured flow rate and comparing the appliance information registered in the gas appliance information registration means 110 with the same to discriminate a gas appliance. If the flow characteristic of the gas appliance extracted by the gas appliance discrimination means 111 is not registered as appliance information in the gas appliance information registration means 110, use time of the gas appliance is measured. When a gas appliance can be specified based on the flow characteristic and the use time of the gas appliance, the flow characteristic is registered as appliance information of the gas appliance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
