To fix a gas bag module with a simple means by providing a fixing projecting part for fixing the gas bag module to a vehicle part in a fixing bolt in a device having an inflator, a gas bag and two fixing bolts.

A holding ring 18 in a gas bag module 10, a rim and a cover 10 in the expansion opening of a gas bag 16 and the attaching plate 14 of an inflator 12 are connected together by bolts 22, and the holding ring 18, the gas bag 16, the cover 20 and the attaching plate 14 are clamped between a supporting head 24 and nuts 26. In this case, a fixing projecting part 30 having a peripheral direction groove 32 in a bolt end positioned in the external side of the gas bag module 10 is provided in the bolt 22, and this projecting part 30 is inserted into an attaching hole 41. Further, a locking member 42 extended in a direction perpendicular to the bolt 22 is inserted into a proper hole to be engaged with the peripheral direction groove 32 and thus the bolt 22 is prevented from being pulled out of the attaching hole 41.
