Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film having gas barrier properties required for an electronic device and having excellent flexible properties (adhesion and flexibility), and to provide an electronic device using the gas barrier film.SOLUTION: A gas barrier film of the present invention has a gas barrier layer on a resin substrate containing a water adsorption resin and a compound having a 5- or 6-membered aromatic hydrocarbon ring or aromatic heterocycle. The compound having a 5- or 6-membered aromatic hydrocarbon ring or aromatic heterocycle is a compound having at least three 5- or 6-membered aromatic hydrocarbon rings or aromatic heterocycles with a NICS value smaller than or equal to that of a benzene ring, and having a specific structure.
