To provide a gas barrier film capable of maintaining superior gas barrier property over a long period of time, and a method of manufacturing the same.
The gas barrier film includes a gas barrier resin layer formed by obtaining a hydrolysate by mixing water and alkoxysilane (A) containing two or more alkoxy groups and one or more radically polymerizable groups, adding a polyisocyanate compound (B) and a radically polymerizable monomer (C) containing one or more isocyanate reactive groups and one or more radically polymerizable groups to the hydrolysate, obtaining a coating composition which contains a reaction product obtained by reacting the polyisocyanate compound (B) and the radically polymerizable monomer (C), and the hydrolysate, and subjecting the hydrolysate to dehydration-condensation reaction after or while performing radical polymerization of the reaction product and the hydrolysate by irradiating active energy rays on the coating composition.
