Abstract:
To provide a gas barrier film optimum as a packaging material capable of being processed by a wet coating system using existing equipment, excellent in transparency and developing high-degree gas barrier properties not depending on temp. and humidity by low temp. drying.
A transparent primer layer comprising an aq. polyurethane resin or an aq. polyurethane resin in which colloidal silica is dispersed and a gas barrier film based on alkali metal polysilicate represented by M2O.nSiO2 and a water-soluble polymer are successively laminated to the single surface or both surfaces of a base material comprising a plastic material.
