To provide gas-based fire extinguishing equipment simplifiable of the structure of a pipeline to reduce construction cost of the equipment.
A starting gas emitted from a starting gas container 11 filled with liquid carbon dioxide is supplied via a constant pressure blocking device 11a and a starting gas pipeline 13 to a selective valve opening device 10 for opening a selective valve 9 supplying inactive extinguishing agent gas selectively to a fire extinguish target compartment 6, a line control valve 14, an extinguishing agent gas storage container valve opening device 20 for opening the extinguishing agent gas storage container valve 2 of the extinguishing agent gas storage container 1, and a constant pressure gas container valve opening device 16a for opening the constant pressure gas container valve 16 of the constant pressure gas container 15 storing gas with standard gas pressure, while the gas with standard gas pressure is emitted by supplying the starting gas from the opened constant pressure gas container valve 16 of the constant pressure gas container 15, and supplied to the extinguishing agent gas storage container valve 2 via the starting gas pipeline 13-0 so that the standard gas pressure is applied on a fluid path valve.
