Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress noise caused by rapid decompression and inflation of fire extinguishing gas.SOLUTION: A gas jetting device includes: a jetting head 13 including a nozzle 12; a sound absorption material 125 into which fire extinguishing gas discharged from the nozzle flows and which is made of a porous metal; a ring member 122 contacting with the sound absorption material to fix the sound absorption material; and a connection member 129 connecting the jetting head with the ring member. The nozzle includes a nozzle hole 16. The sound absorption material includes one edge face 125b from which the fire extinguishing gas is discharged and an other edge face 125a facing an opening of the nozzle hole. The fire extinguishing gas discharged from the nozzle hole can be made to flow directly into the porous metal from the other edge face. The connection member includes a fitting part 123 capable of being screwed onto the jetting head and one edge face thereof opens to air except for a portion contacting with the ring member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
