To provide an electrostatic shield construction by which no wedge-like space is produced so that a size can be reduced for securing insulation intensity so as to contribute the downsizing of a product and the reduction of cost.
A fixing portion 1, and a moving contact 2 which is provided so as to be possible to be inserted and touched to the ring-like fixed contact 12 of the fixing portion 1 are provided, and an insulation nozzle 14 made of insulation material covering the fixed contact 12 is provided so that the inside of the insulation nozzle 14 form an arc-extinguishing chamber 17. A side into which the moving contact 2 is inserted is drawn into a protrusion portion 141 so that a nozzle hole 143 through which the moving contact 2 surrounded by the protrusion portion 141 passes is formed, and the inner shape of the insulation nozzle 14 containing the protrusion portion 141 is formed into a shape suitable for an electrostatic shield. Further, this face is metal-plated so as to form an electrostatic shield 15 so that such a conventional wedge-like gas space as produced between the electrostatic shield and the insulation nozzle is not allowed to be produced.
