Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a fire when in occurrence of earthquake, by improving an on- off valve of the gas bomb in such manner with a flow of gas made stopping automatically when caused an intense earthquake, and making the earthquake sensor securable when transported. CONSTITUTION:A dead weight 19 in the earthquake sensor and a handle 19 of the valve, made in a conventional concept, are constructed in one unit. When flowing a gas, a different tube 19 is inserted from outside, with a force applied to make lifting by applying the theory of lever, simultaneously with the head of a close preventive pin 29 locked. The surface of a quake sensor plate 25, when in a completion of operation, linked to the pin that locks a work of the closing operation preventive pin 29, is in parallel to the surface of a quake transmitter 23 when in a steady state. The close preventive pin 29, when the pin linked to the quake sensor plate 25 is disengaged, goes out jumping to outside by a force of the elastic unit contained inside. And then the closing valve works a self-closing operation.
