PURPOSE: To cause excellent combustion of injection lean mixture gas by a method wherein a burner port for rich mixture gas is positioned adjacent to a burner port for lean mixture gas, and the burner ports for rich mixture gas are disposed to both ends of a burner port parallel mounting group in a burner port parallel mounting direction.
CONSTITUTION: In a burner body in which first - fourth plates A - D are laminated to each other, rich mixture gas is injected through a notch 4 for forming an auxiliary injection port of the second plate B by means of a burner port F3 for auxiliary rich mixture gas for combustion. The action of flame of rich mixture gas for excellent combustion is sufficiently exerted on lean mixture gas injected through both end parts of each of burner ports F2 for lean mixture gas in the direction of the width of a burner port as seen from a burner port parallel mounting direction. Burner ports F1 for rich mixture gas and burner ports F2 for lean mixture gas are alternately arranged in juxtaposition, and burner ports F1 for rich mixture gas are arranged at both ends of burner port parallel mounting group. The action of flame of rich mixture gas for excellent combustion can be sufficiently exerted on lean mixture gas injected through the outer parts, positioned at both ends in a burner port parallel mounting direction, of the burner ports F2 for lean mixture gas.
