To provide a gas bushing in which the dirt of and damage to composite hollow porcelain housing during transport can be prevented in the gas bushing using the composite hollow porcelain.
The composite hollow porcelain 11 of a gas bushing 20 is composed of a tube 12 using FRP as material, a shade-shaped housing 13 made of high polymer organic material, an upper part flange 14, a lower part flange 15, and the like. A high voltage electrode 6 and a head part air shield 7 are fitted to the upper part flange 14, and a fitting flange 9 and a lower part air shield 10 are fitted to the lower part flange 15. A transport cover 30 containing the whole gas bushing 20 is composed of a lid 31 and a cylinder 32. A block end is provided at the upper part of the cylinder 32, an open end is provided at the lower part thereof. The lid blocks the lower part open end of the cylinder 32. The cylinder 32 block end and the lid 31 of the transport cover 30 are respectively fitted to the high voltage electrode 6 and the fitting flange 9 of the gas bushing 20.
