To provide a gas cock capable of performing a rotating operation of a handle irrespective of installation position of a main body.
A gas cock comprises: a cock body 1 for opening and closing a gas channel W by the turning around a rotation shaft P, which is stored in a cock body storage part 11; and a handle 3 connected to the cock body 1 via a rotation transmission means 2, and is configured such that the cock body 1 is turned around the rotation shaft P by a rotation operation of the handle 3. With this configuration, the gas channel W is opened and closed. The rotation transmission means 2 comprises: a flexible rotation transmission member 4 of which one end 4a is connected with the handle 3 integrally rotatably and the other end 4b is rotated to turn the cock body 1, a connection part 5d of which one edge is located on the handle 3 side and the other edge 5b is connected to the cock body storage part 11; and a retention member 5 which houses the rotation transmission member 4 to an inner part.
