To provide a gas compressor in which oil can be supplied to a lip seal or a drive shaft without leaking a coolant which is sucked into a housing, to the outside of the housing.
A gas compressor includes: a housing into which a coolant is sucked; a rotary drive shaft which is supported to the housing in a freely rotatable manner and to which a rotational drive force is transmitted; a compressor body which is disposed within the housing to be freely rotatable via the rotary drive shaft and is rotationally driven to compress a coolant sucked into a cylinder chamber; and a lip seal which is fitted into the rotary drive shaft and disposed with a drive shaft supporting part of the housing to seal the inside of the housing and the outside. In the vicinity of the lip seal, a storage means is provided for storing an oil lubricating the lip seal.
