Abstract:
To provide a gas compressor which is capable of obtaining compressed gas of a higher pressure than a gas compressor configured to compress gas through one stage, and is small-sized further than a gas compressor configured to compress a gas through two stages.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a gas compressor comprising a rotary member 40 and a compression unit 13 which is actuated by torque of the rotary member 40 and compresses gas. The compression unit 13 includes: an actuation member 57 which is actuated by the torque of the rotary member 40; cases 28 and 55 in which the actuation member 57 is accommodated so as to be actuated; a first compression chamber 46 and a second compression chamber 61 which are provided inside of the cases 28 and 55 and separated by the actuation member 57; ventilation paths 62, 64, 65 and 66 which connect the first compression chamber 46 and the second compression chamber 61; and a check valve 68 which is disposed between the first compression chamber 46 and the second compression chamber 61. The first compression chamber 46 sucks, compresses and discharges the gas when the actuation member 57 is actuated, and the second compression chamber 61 sucks, compresses and discharges the gas that is discharged from the first compression chamber 46, when the actuation member 57 is actuated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7A
