Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a gas compressor of high efficiency with no risk of leakage even in case the compressor is configured in the trochoid type.
CONSTITUTION: A gas compressor concerned comprises a pair of side covers 41, 42 at least either of which is equipped with a discharge port 6 and suction port 8, an inner rotor 1 borne by the side covers 41, 42 in between and equipped at the periphery with trochoidal teeth, an outer rotor 2 equipped at the bore with an inscribing envelope mating with the periphery of the inner rotor 1, an outer rotor housing 3 fitted on the outer rotor 2 for rotating the outer rotor 2 in eccentricity relative to the axis of the inner rotor 1, and a liquid pouring port 10 which confronts the inter-rotor compressive space A situated between the suction port 8 and discharge port 6, and therewith gas compression takes place while the space A is sealed with the liquid.
