Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor capable of reducing a leakage of high pressure refrigerant gas between compression chambers and being suitable for improving performance of the gas compressor.
SOLUTION: A sealing member 40 for refrigerant gas which attempts to leak from a compression chamber 10 to a low pressure part (suction port, suction passage, suction chamber 12) side through a clearance 19 between a rotor 4 and side blocks 2, 3 is provided in this clearance 19. The sealing member 40 is annularly formed so as to surround a rotor shaft 5 and is attached to an annular seal mounting groove 41 drilled and provided on rotor opposing faces 2a, 3a of the side blocks 2, 3. In this case, a groovelike oil passage 42 is provided as a means supplying oil accumulated in a ring of the annular sealing member 40 to a compression chamber 10 side outside of the ring on an end face 4b of the rotor 4.
